Many of the new mothers that we minister to are very young, some as young as 13 years old. Their struggles are tremendous as many do not have even the basics to get started. Donations of baby items are packaged up and given to the mothers who need extra help. Baby supplies are very expensive, and many mothers are simply not able to afford diapers, bottles, blankets, formula and other common baby supplies.
As a part of our hunger relief project, we try to provide diapers, milk and baby cereals on a weekly basis to those families who have small children. These mothers often come to us when their babies need clothing as well. It’s always a blessing when we are able to replenish our stock with new supplies for the next person in need!
