This is day #1 of special woodworking classes that a carpenter from the U.S. is teaching. This is a huge blessing and has been a long-time dream here at AMO. Our AMO volunteers/missionaries and several guys from the favela are learning about equipment safety and how to use electric saws,

A local professional has been volunteering his time to teach theoretical electrical installation classes for our AMO volunteers. We’ve had a few theoretical classes and the practical classes will be on-going as we install electric wiring in the first house for single moms.
