Our Mission

“… Jesus said to Simon Peter, ‘Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?’ ‘Yes, Lord,’ he said, ‘you know that I love you.’ Jesus said, ‘Feed my lambs.Again Jesus said, ‘Simon son of John, do you love me?’ He answered, ‘Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.’ Jesus said, ‘Take care of my sheep.’” (John 21:15-16)

What is our mission?

To establish Family Ministry Centers for the poor and spiritually needy in the favelas (slums) of Brazil, supplying the spiritual and physical needs necessary for abundant living with Christ.

Strategy & Objectives

To build and develop Family Ministry Centers to reach families and their communities for Christ. To establish mission-minded churches outside of the favelas which train, equip and send out volunteers to minister in the Family Ministry Centers. To motivate and excite local churches, businesses, and organizations to become partners in the work both in the favela and at the A.M.O. Headquarters.

“The third time he said to him, ‘Simon son of John, do you love me?’ Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, ‘Do you love me?’ He said, ‘Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.’ Jesus said, ‘Feed my sheep.’” (John 21:17)
